Take heart, only everything has to burn.

The Sun in Leo carries the strength and purest expression of fire energy that fuels ones vital life force and all things of creation, whether children, art projects or business ventures. The energy generator and receiver of the body, the heart, is also exalted this season, so there’s a natural expenditure of energy being focused outward to people and experiences that generate feelings of radiant courageousness, exuberant joy and passionate play. Unapologetic, bold and vibrant authenticity is how one expresses the primal lion within. Perceive it for what it is and retain a level of detachment from the show, letting past deeply held convictions and perceptions of who fits into what cultural identity box dissolve, creating space for new connections and world building ideas to incubate. We’re resetting the mind to process out old identities leftover from what was, to discover who one is being called to be on a higher plane of spirited reality. Mercury is now ruling the revolutionary hijinks that Uranus is unleashing in Gemini, this retrograde is influencing the pyramid of galactic ambassadors; Pluto, Neptune and Saturn that are revolutionizing every aspect of life on this planet. This is the last frontier in a decade fraught with endings of life as we’ve known it. It being Leo season, it seems like a good reason to have a party, celebrating the death and life processes that cycle over and over.

Tuesday July 22 - Sun enters Leo // Sun 0º Leo sextile Uranus in Gemini - Peak expressions of summer joy-joy permeate the ethers, starting out in some erratic and exciting ways. The fire and air elements are electrified these first few days as the Sun will be pinging not only Uranus, but soon Saturn, Neptune and Pluto with the Moon joining the party as well. Notice what makes your heart sing and ring and follow the left turn to the poppy lined yellow brick road.

Wednesday July 23 - Venus 21º Gemini square Mars in Virgo - Desires to connect and play are met with the task master of ones mind that needs to perfect everything before the fun begins. Keep in mind that the ruler of these two planets, Mercury, is retrograde, so the ability to choose a path to channel this energy into is a whole internal mind spiral. Creative writing vs. spreadsheets. Frisbee vs. crossfit. Picnic vs. fasting. Luckily all options seemingly end up at the same place of moving and balancing ones mental energies, you just have to decide if it’s in a more energetically feminine or masculine way. Drop into your heart, just do it and let the chatter tire itself out.

Thursday July 24 - New Moon 2º Leo trine Saturn & Neptune in Aries, opposite Pluto in Aquarius - New intentions of the soul open in previously unseen ways. Potentially shocking revelations could jolt one into following a fresh dream, and actually have the energy to follow through and sustain the vision. Keep your heart open to the intensity that blows through and expect surprising adventures to kick off.

Monday July 28 - Venus 27º Gemini sextile Chiron in Aries - Money and all forms of currency continue shifting in their fluid chaos, now we get a first glimpse of how these can be supporting ones burgeoning freedom from past oppressive forces, or at least see how its been used against you to make new choices moving forward. Relationships that have experienced some separation and volatility can start to find a new path of healing understanding between parties.

Wednesday July 30 - Venus enters Cancer // Chiron stations retrograde 27º Aries - The deeply felt peace of being at home in oneself infuses its presence into our inner lives. For the next several weeks priorities center around caring for whatever kind of sanctuary space you have in your life, which may look like some redecorating and painting or sprucing up the garden. Cook food that nourishes you and perhaps has some nostalgic memories from younger days. Protect your auric space from parasitic energies/people and really value those relationships that respect these boundaries. Other Venus Cancer effects include affectionate memories of past loves popping up, appreciating the emotional wisdom you’ve gained over the past year, healing undigested emotional material, and honing your sensitivity into a powerful force of growth.

Meanwhile Chiron is grinding away at the 28th degree of Aries, changing its focus from the external world of war to our internal instincts and penchant for self destruction until January 2nd, 2026. Navigation of this requires a level of dis-identifying with ones loud little ego that naturally goes, “but what about meeeeee?” Is every whim and desire that runs through your head actually yours, first of all; and second of all, does chasing after each of these bring you more peace or war in life? This is a period of time to discover the autopilot cravings of the wounded child that have run the show for too long. Thursday July 31 - Sun conjunct Mercury rx 9º Leo - The heart of our mind and mind of our heart goes through a renewal where the first glimpse of light at the end of the retrograde tunnel beckons us forward. Rest in the consciousness of the heart space, as the mental sphere is still upgrading its connection to the wisdom generator of the body, full clarity is still a couple weeks off. Positive announcements and celebrations may elevate ones state of mind in the midst of the changes. Creativity may receive a boost of energy, though the full expression of these action sparks may still take until Mercury is moving forward to get going. This may also be a time where you receive some health focused information to support your vital life force in a way that really revives joy and refocuses energy.

Friday August 1 - Venus 1º Cancer square Neptune rx & Saturn rx in Aries, quincunx Pluto rx in Aquarius - An experience that forces an enforcement of your boundaries appears that may be deceptively passive aggressive in its intentions. Classic gaslighting or narcissistic manipulation tactics that highlight a weak spot in some emotional or sentimental attachments. Family is probably the most likely contender to show up here, or someone that embodies the energy of whoever held authority in your home. There’s an unseen liberating force in operation that is equally uncomfortable here, as collective ideas of “approved of” behavior may be screaming in your mind to conform, and yet you know on a deeper soul level that confronting the situation with a strong boundary will ultimately free you from the grasp of this dying power.

Wednesday August 6 - Mars enters Libra - Mars falls into a place of discontent for the next 6 weeks, as his natural tendency to control and at times deceive gets dismantled. Diplomatic shit-firestorms and forced accommodations will be witnessed in governments and partnerships of all kinds potentially. You may find yourself collecting names in a little notebook for later revenge when Mars enters its Scorpionic home of subterfuge and control later in September, right at the end of eclipse season no less. The Art of War is a fitting read and theme for these next few months in regards to Mars. Legal battles, territory skirmishes, separations, divorce, and really disagreements of all kinds get riled up here as the war god resorts to desperate measures to maintain some semblance of power over others and things outside of his immediate control. Projections will reach new levels of absurdity, prepare your peace making ear muffs to drown out the chaos that the collective world is going to throw up.

Friday August 8/9/10 - Mars 1º Libra trine Uranus in Gemini, opposite Neptune rx & Saturn rx in Aries, trine Pluto rx in Aquarius - The 3+ day initiation of this kite formation escalates global war tensions to an 11 on the control board. The evolutionary forces of change are fully activated and the push-pull between Mars and Saturn threaten to destroy the thin facade of diplomacy that is left in international and national governance groups. The gloves come off and they are being pulled off by Uranus and Pluto who will always encourage everything to be taken to extreme event horizons of total destruction, as they just want change, no matter what is left in its wake.

Saturday August 9 - Full Moon 17º Aquarius - The Full Moon that is ruled by this highly electrified Uranus guarantees a panoply of chaos this weekend, as the Sun and Moon add their polarizing forces to the mix. Expect overt attempts to crush collective uprisings. Authoritarian and centralized power vs. a decentralized radical restructuring of power. Wrongthink and doublespeak take on new meanings and power, with potential excommunications from groups we may have associations with for violations of these psychological barriers. We may see another ratchet up in the AI biomedical technocratic digital currency open air prison roll out. On top of this, Earth is going to have her say in these matters as well, even if they’re controlled “natural” events or not; water, airborne and fire disasters will probably spike around this week.

Monday August 11 - Mercury stations direct 4º Leo! // Venus Jupiter conjunction 13º Cancer - Matters of the heart take a turn for progress here as Mercury stations direct, but will be sitting at this 5th degree of Leo for about 4 days.
