Rattle Making Workshop: Sept 4 & 5

Rattles have been used for thousands of years in cultures around the world as tools to shift energies in healing and ceremonial settings. In this 2 evening workshop you'll craft a round, rawhide rattle that carries your own energy and intentions. Jasmine will guide you through this process, focused on building ones personal and sacred connection to Earth and Spirit. This is a small workshop with 6 spots available for everyone to have space and necessary assistance when needed. 
 
This is a 2 part workshop as the rattles need a night to dry in the process, so please only sign up if you can make both days and times, a make up time is possible but will incur an additional $50 cost. Refunds are not possible for cancellations at this time, but you may rollover your attendance to a future workshop with a full 48 hours of notice, less than 48 hours notice forfeits your place. You may also transfer/gift your spot to a friend. 
 
This workshop requires hand sewing with small needles, so some level of manual dexterity and strength to pull the needle through the rawhide is needed.
 
Day 1 will be an introduction to rattles and their historical use and how we can incorporate their power in our lives. Then you'll learn to sew the rattle head, shape it and secure it for drying. 
 
Day 2 is filling day! Jasmine will discuss the energetics of different plant and stone materials as you prepare to fill your rattle heads with the energies that feel aligned with your intentions. Then the handles will be attached and decorating may commence. Upon completion Jasmine will lead a guided meditation to connect you to the energy of your rattle.
